সময়ের ডালেও লাগে পরিবর্তনের ঢেউ। তাই ঢেঁকিকেও হেরে যেতে হয় রাইসমিলের দৌরাত্ম্যের কাছে। হেরে গেলেও সরে যায় না সে, ঐতিহ্যের এক মাইলফলক হয়ে থেকে যায় গানে উৎসবে। নারীদের বন্দি অবস্থা থেকে একঝলক মুক্তির আবহাওয়া এনে দিয়েছিল ঢেঁকি। নারদমুণির সঙ্গে যার অঙ্গাঙ্গী সম্পর্ক তাকে কি কখনো ভোলা যায়? তাই ঢেঁকি থেকে যায় বাঙালির হৃদয়মাঝে। সময়ের আলপনায় এক নৈবেদ্য সাজিয়ে ঢেঁকির যাত্রা অনাদ্যন্ত যাত্রা অনাদিকাল থেকেই।
