আমরা সময়ের পিছনে, আর সময় আমাদের পিছনে ছুটছে। এই গতিময়তার আমরা আপনজন; সময়-সংকুলতার বান্ধব। সাহিত্যেও এর প্রভাব প্রত্যক্ষণীয়। গল্প হয়ে উঠছে ক্ষুদ্রায়তন। এই স্বল্পায়তনের মধ্যে বৃহৎকে ভরে দেওয়াই অণুগল্পের উদ্দেশ্য। এ যেন বিন্দুতে সিন্ধু ধরার প্রচেষ্টা। টেস্ট, ওডিআই নয়— টি-টোয়েন্টি। স্বভাবতই এখানে লেখক যা লেখেন, পাঠককে বুঝে নিতে হয় তার চেয়ে অনেক বেশি।
অণুগল্পের চাহিদা এখন ক্রমবর্ধমান। সেই ভাবনা থেকেই আটজন গল্পকারের পাঁচটি করে গল্প নিয়ে সেজে উঠেছে ‘ঘুলঘুলি’।
